Salam and Hello!
For the introduction, let us briefs you a little about bakkupakka.
Bakkupakka is a Japanese form of words [bakku-pakka] which means backpaker.
Whilst backpacker may refer to a person participating in a backpacking activity
which can be divided into two categories; wilderness and travel.
Backpacking is a form of low-cost, independent international/domestic travel.
It includes the use of a backpack or other luggage that is easily carried for long distances
or long periods of time; the use of public transport; inexpensive lodging such as youth hostels;
a longer duration to the trip when compared with conventional
vacations; and an interest in
meeting the locals as well as seeing the
sight (Wikipedia, n.d).
So why not Bakkupakka?
Well, let say backpacker itself sounds boring and lame so we use other language
to make it sounds more interesting in a way that you will come up with questions
and wondering what bakkupakka really is. Bakkupakka consists of four members
of undergraduate students from a local Teacher-Training Institute based in Kuala Lumpur.
We are Adam, Ezra, Aisy and Captain Airil.
Stay tune with us to read about our reviews of places we have visited as a group of
bakkupakka or solo.
Till then. :)
